What do I get on the Free plan?

You can add up to 100 documents or 1,000 pages for free, import a Slack archive, and connect your own AI via MCP. You also get 1M bonus tokens to try Combra AI before deciding on Personal.

What is MCP and why does it matter?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools use external services. Combra ships an MCP server, so Claude, Cursor and your own agents can query your brain directly, with the same citations.

Is my data used to train AI models?

We train no model on your content. Answering does send it out: the passages we retrieve and your question go to Google's Gemini, which writes the answer, to Anthropic's Claude when Gemini is unavailable, and to Jina AI, which turns text into the vectors that make retrieval work. We use their business APIs and do not permit Google or Anthropic to train on what we send. Jina's terms reserve a right to use anonymized data to improve its own models. Every provider is named on our sub-processor page.

What if Combra doesn't know the answer?

It tells you it doesn't have a grounded source, and points to what's missing, instead of making something up. A wrong number costs more than a missing one.
